My name is Amanda Ivory. I like to think of myself as a people person. I enjoy meeting people and learning new concepts on life. I have moved eighteen times since I graduated high school, so needless to say, I have made a lot of friends along the way.

I manage The Brides' Shop, an intimate bridal boutique in Salt Lake City, Utah. I absolutely love what I do. Bridal is the perfect environment for me as I love people and I love fashion. With a background in retail buying, becoming a buyer for a bridal store was a dream come true. I feel that it is up to me to supply my store with dresses that are unique, fashion forward, classic, and timeless.

I have many passions in life. One of those passions is photography. I love taking pictures. It makes me feel happy when I can look back at a photograph and relive a beautiful moment. You can find more of my photography images at Amaya Imagery.
In my experience with photography, I have dipped my toe into the world of modeling. Even living with two successful models who have traveled the world and both made covers of various magazines. However, I feel entirely more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it. At least I can look back with fondness that I faced my fear of getting my picture taken.

I am also a skin care and beauty consultant. During personal or group consultations, I teach women how to properly take care of their skin, the right colors to use, and how to relax and pamper themselves. I am lucky enough to be a consultant for the number one spa company in North America, BeautiControl. I came across these products when I was 18 years old and will use them for the rest of my life.
I believe in taking care of and loving yourself.

And as you can see, I love to blog. When I was in the second grade, I decided I was going to write a book. I actually did.  It was about a witch that lived under the stairs and would terrorize little kids, until she melted and the kids threw a party. It was thirteen pages long and my mom still has it in my elementary school file.

I was lucky enough to be involved with The So Many Roads Tour; a ride to promote life. I blogged over a summer for a dear friend of mine named Delicia Jernigan. We met in the most unfortunate of circumstances, the loss of her brother Anthony to suicide. From June 1, 2011 until the middle of September, Delicia rode her bike from Portland, Oregon to Portland, Maine to raise money for SAVE. You can learn more about her journey at So Many Roads Tour.

I have been so blessed in my life to have met so many friends along the way that have supported and will always be there for me. They keep me moving in the right direction.
My boyfriend Christopher has changed my life for the better in more ways than I could have ever imagined. I love him and am so thankful for his strength, wisdom, and support. He is my friend and my love.

I hope you have enjoyed looking through The Image Guide as much as I have enjoyed sharing it with you.
