Cate Parr.

fem·i·nine

/ˈfemənin/
Adjective
Having qualities or appearance traditionally associated with women, esp. delicacy and prettiness.

This image leaves me with the feeling of creativity and femininity. I adore the soft shapes of color that have been combined to create a lovely figure. I am instantly inspired to bring feminine and unique pieces into my wardrobe. What could be more feminine than beautifully draped dresses?

Dreamed About You Last Night, by Liu Chenyang.

dream

/drēm/
Noun
A series of thoughts, images, and sensations occurring in a person's mind during sleep.

Verb
Experience dreams during sleep: "I dreamed about her last night".

This image instantly grabbed my gaze. I was absorbed in the wispy lines and cheetah print; but even more entranced with the lovely shaded figure. She seems timid, biting her bottom lip. Shaded eyes reflecting longing. I sit and wonder who this young girl dreamed of, or is she the dreamt?

I am still feeling that it would take a lot more than clothing to express the intimate nature of the image.

Sun Child No 1

Michael Shapcott possesses a gorgeous talent for using color in such thoughtful and intriguing ways.  I was immediately captured by the color palette used in his painting Sun Child No 1. The inviting lines in the image allow for the eye to be entertained on multiple levels. The image is overwhelmingly beautiful and inspiring.

If this one image could take such powerful hold of the onlooker, I wonder what exactly is so catching. Is it the color, the child's entrancing eyes, the intriguing use of pattern, the soft shading of the image; what exactly is happening here that makes me want to stay and look longer. I wonder if I could inspire the same affect using other aesthetics.

This image is equally striking with soft and
neutral colors offering a lovely pop of blue. The girl has intriguing eyes that draw the viewer in. Her hair offers abstract lines that entertain the eye. The image is powerful to stand alone, but in contrast to Sun Child No 1, it needs something more.

The addition of a two-tone leather belt with a landscape image engraving offers visual interest to an ensemble. This intriguing accessory offers more than just function. It is a statement piece that is creative, beautiful, and inspired.

What can be said for projecting inspired imagery through inspired jewelry. The Amazonite necklace is said to enhance creativity, hope, and harmony.
This semi-opaque blue-green variety of feldspar is named after the Amazon River.
Amazonite balances feminine and masculine energy. It promotes kindness and practicality.
Pale azure blue amazonite is know as the lucky "Hope Stone". It will be lucky for all your hopes and dreams. Amazonite is also known to help balance the emotions and gives physical stamina.
The combination of the the beautiful azure color and the chance that it will inspire such positive emotions brings me closer to achieving the image I hope to project from Sun Child No 1.
Here are some more images to create the Sun Child No 1 look.

Now I wonder if I can expand this image through details in my home. Can the inspiration of a painting be just as inspiring in a couch ?
