I grew up a total barbie girl. I loved Barbies. No other toy could even come close to her. The first half of playing with Barbie was styling her, giving her a name, an occupation, a lifestyle; the second half was living vicariously through that doll. I never got tired of playing with her. Even now, as an adult, I still love to check out the Barbie isle to see the latest Barbie trends. Just because I don't play with Barbie anymore, doesn't mean I don't still appreciate her influence on fashion.

The color pink has represented girl for as long as I can remember. However, my mother never dressed me in pink and I currently own one bright pink shirt that I "borrowed" from my sister; I haven't worn it in months. For a girl who owns so little pink, I absolutely love the color, especially when found in nature. 

There are some ways I could integrate pink into my life. Such as my wedding day! Just because I won't be wearing it, doesn't mean that I can't enjoy the shade on my friends.

I must admit that I have just now discovered the lovely work of Eduard Tomek. A true artist, bringing forth glorious and enchanting visions. I am so thankful to Pinterest and the good taste of others to lead me to such a treasure. The image is so inspired.
As with the painting above, this Burberry jacket would be a pure treasure to own. It could never be sold, just passed down for generations to admire.

I love Kamilla Marant's artwork. She combines such beautiful shapes and colors to create images that evoke curiosity and admiration. The visual is quite stunning and reminds me of  a faceted gem. I want to wear this little fox around. The style itself would make an excellent screen print for a fun yet flirty t-shirt. I would definitely wear it. It guarantees that I will be called a fox that day; one of the funnest compliments to receive.

I am still thinking that Kamilla should transform her beautiful fox into clothing so I can wear it. Until then, I will have to wear inspired jewelry.
